Why Internet Explorer...why...
Ok, so we all know Microsoft has never been known for their "Ease of Use" on all of their products. And we all know that many companies build software and products to function with other software and products that they make, makes sense right?
Well, here's the scenario: Imagine being told you have to learn Chinese to speak to this specific group of people. So you learn Chinese, talk with everyone else about learning Chinese (which they also are learning), and start to get really good at Chinese.
Then you get to the room (we'll call it IE) and start talking to them in Chinese, and they say "Sorry, we only understand Chinese." So you look at one of the people who came with you in amazement. "I thought I just spoke to them in Chinese." "Yeah, I thought you did too..." remarks your friend.
You even look at your "Chinese for Dummies" book, to make sure you spoke correctly. Yup, no mistake in what you said, it was definitely Chinese.
After a while, you notice there is another room that says "We speak Chinese". We'll call this room (Firefox, or Chrome, or even Safari). You go in, repeat what you previously said in the last room (IE), and they reply "Wow! That was perfect Chinese!"
So what's the point? People will soon start going straight to the room that understands Chinese, and leave the other room playing catch up with the iPhone...
This thought is brought to you by Layered Web after a long battle with IE...we won...

I wrote a poem:
Why do I Love IE;
Why oh why do I love IE?
Is it because of all the pop up boxes that I get to close?
Or perhaps the HTML it uses that nobody knows...
Or maybe it's because they're always lagging behind...
Putting my deadlines with web clients up in a bind...
Or maybe it's just because of the name "Explorer"
Or for all the viruses that find their way to its folder...
Maybe I'm tired of always closing that pop up box...
Perhaps its time to switch to Fire Fox...
Why oh why do I Love IE?
I guess I don't...
